- Conversation content — messages you exchange with companions, stored to maintain context across sessions
- Generated media — images and audio produced for your account
- Usage data — basic logs (timestamps, request paths, error codes) for security and reliability
- Payment data — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers
How We Use Your Data

- To maintain your conversation context with companions
- To process payments and credit balances
- To detect abuse and enforce our Terms of Service

What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties
- We do not use your conversation content to train third-party models
- We do not share your messages with anyone outside the operating team
Data Retention
Conversation history is retained while your account is active. You may delete individual conversations at any time from the chats page. Closing your account permanently removes your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies for authentication sessions and a single localStorage entry to remember your age verification. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. EU/UK users have rights under GDPR; California users have rights under CCPA.
Children
Darkseat is strictly for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover such an account it is deleted immediately.
